My weekend got taken up with a project in iMovie, and I discovered that it does not auto save your work so I lost 2 hours of my time with a crash last night. To say I was mad is an understatement. Still I’ve finished the project today after an 8 hour stretch at my desk, and still with an unbeliveable 8 hours remaining on rendering in iDVD, making a total of 15 hours in render?
I think my plan to burn a slide show to disc before Christmas just got canned, and sadly makes me want to upgrade my system again.
Now that the injuries are healed, and the last things unpacked and stored away, I thought I’d bring you a little movie of this years skiing trip.
Pieced together from mobile footage, we left the video camera at home this time, I really enjoyed putting this together.
I’ve still got all the photo’s to go yet!
Note to self: MMS via Shozu does not allow text input! Manually inputed below.
Maybe I’ve not found my Holy Grail yet.
3 hours to import into iMovie.
Left with a 34gig file after trimming 1/3 out in edits.
26 hours to burn to iDVD.
For the first time in many years the Southport Air Show suffered from terrible weather today. I hoped to shoot some video of the event, but heavy rainfall made me stay at home.
Still, I made a little video of my drive home from work.
